Hi, I'm mathilde

Be classy on a Wednesday and treat yourself to a Sidecar (with a Twist).

Since it’s been a while that I’ve been behind the bar and now am home bartender, I want to go back to basics. I took a bartending class when I was 18 to be legally allowed to serve alcohol and bartended throughout college— needless to say, I still have LOTS to relearn. I really enjoyed a nice Sidecar but always craved a bit more citrus, hence the added the orange bitters and lemon peel twist.

What to get to make the Sidecar (with a Twist)

  • 1.5 oz of Ciroc VS French Brandy
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • Garnish: Lemon Peel Twist

Now here’s how do make the perfect Sidecar (with a Twist)

Coat the rim of your glass with sugar (optional). Add your Brandy, Triple Sec, and Lemon Juice into your shaker and shake until chilled. Pour into the prepared glass, and add ice and 2 dashes of Orange Bitters Garnish with a lemon peel twist and enjoy
