If you haven’t tried a true sour, definitely try this one!! The Rosemary Fog is such a creamy, tart drink that I was truly wasn’t expecting a great combo of flavors. I really wanted to push my technique on a true, egg white, sour (because last time I tried one, it didn’t turn out so well )!
I love a good smoked rosemary and blackberry combo, and thought adding in a floral taste would give this cocktail depth, and it DID!
This cocktail is dedicated to my ‘upstate sis’ — thank you for always sending inspiration for drinks and what I should do next on this page
If you’re looking to add the Rosemary Fog to your next night in, I would pair it with some tacos, chicken and waffles, and/or even Eggs Benedict!
Here’s what you need to make your Rosemary Fog
- Fresh Rosemary
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 1 oz St Germain
- 2 oz Gin
Now here’s how to make it…
Smoke your Fresh Rosemary and trap it inside your rocks glass. In your shaker, muddle your Blackberries and Lemon Juice together. Add in Lemon Juice, Rosemary Simple Syrup, St. Germain (Elderflower Liqueur), and Gin.
Lastly, add in 1 Egg White (or 3 tablespoons of Aquafaba) and dry shake. Remove your Smoked Rosemary from your rocks glass and strain your cocktail. Garnish with a Fresh Rosemary Sprig.
