Hi, I'm mathilde

It’s my birthday today! I thought I could take a spin on a favorite and add a taste representation of who I am. Take the Moscow Mule and add a bit of Caribbean flavors to it Essentially, swap out the vodka with @casabrugal Añejo — Brugal is a Dominican staple and will add smooth, gentle notes of vanilla and banana with a slight nutty aroma and a light oaked aroma. I also suggest pairing Brugal with a Jamaican Ginger Beer— I say it completes the drink and makes it wholesome.

With my family being from the Dominican Republic, this spin of the Mule honors them and represents me by displaying our country’s delicious rum.

Here’s what you need to make your Brugal Mule

  • 1 can Jamaican Ginger Beer
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • Top off with Brugal Añejo Rum
  • Garnish: Lime Wedges

Now here’s how to make it…

Pour Ginger Beer in a glass filled with ice, then add Lime Juice. Top off with Brugal Añejo and garnish with a Lime Wedges. Enjoy!

Be sure to bookmark this blog post so you can make this cocktail later. If you make a variation of this cocktail let me know how you modified it!
