There must be something in the air because I’ve been playing with too many vodka cocktails! The Basil Daisy is filled with bright and herbaceous flavors that fits right in with the sunny weather and vibes of summer. ☀️
This recipe was found from Imbibe Magazine, created by Borris Van Dyck from Charleston’s The Darling Oyster Bar.
Here’s what you need to make your Basil Daisy:
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Aperol
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 3 or 4 Basil Leaves
Now here’s how to make it…
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice and hard shake until chilled. Strain over crushed ice in a Collins glass, then garnish leaves.
