Who usually drinks Mai Tais outside of the beach and palm trees? It’s currently cloudy in New York and a Mai Tai actually doesn’t sound like a bad idea with this easy recipe. It was time to break out one of my favorite bartending books, Tequila Mockingbird, and get CRACKING. I feel like I’ve had Mai Tais In every shape and form, with complex flavors and extravagant garnishes — so why not bring the Mai Tai home and make it Home Bartender #Friendly? ✨
Even if you’re not a rum drinker, the alcohol of this drink is so well-hidden that its as if you just had a juice cocktail! If you’re a fan of Mai Tais, how do you like yours?
I’m also very thankful I had some Coconut Rum from my sister, who’s currently in college There’s something about Malibu Rum that just brings back the nostalgia of college days
Here’s what you need to make your homemade Mai Tai

- 2 oz Cranberry Juice
- 2 oz Orange Juice
- Splash of Grenadine
- Orange slice or Pineapple Wedge for garnish
